2008 RE Cares Australia Charities
Each year, the LexisNexis RE Cares committee chooses a number of charities to support in the upcoming year. In 2008 we are supporting the following charities:
- Learning Links
Learning Links is an Australian charity and non-profit organisation formed to help children who have learning disabilities, difficulties and developmental delays and their families. Learning Links helps children to be the best they can be.
- Youth off the Streets
Youth off The Streets supports chronically homeless and drug addicted young Australians as they work to turn their lives around. It is their goal that these young people will leave their care drug free, with a high school education, living skills and a full or part time job in hand. Based on the philosophy that every young person has greatness within, these programs are non-denominational and non-discriminatory.
- The Children’s Hospital at Westmead
The Children’s Hospital at Westmead serves over 50,000 sick children and their families each year in a family-focused healing environment.
