Dean Corkery

General Manager

Dean Corkery is currently General Manager for LexisNexis Singapore, having taken on the role in June 2007. In this role he is responsible for managing the day to day operations of the business, overseeing strategic planning, publishing and editorial operations, financial management, marketing, sales and customer service operations. He also holds the position of Director, Publishing and Editorial, Asia in which he oversees product development, editorial and production operations across Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia and India.

Mr Corkery has a long background with LexisNexis, having joined the company in 1991 as a Legal Editor based in Sydney. In the intervening years he has held a variety of roles within the company primarily in the areas of publishing management, editorial operations management and business development.

Prior to joining LexisNexis, Corkery worked as a lawyer in private practice with leading Australian law firm Freehills.

Mr Corkery graduated with a Bachelor of Economics and a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from the University of Sydney in 1987.
