Previously known as Walter Woon’s ‘The Companies Act of Singapore: An Annotation’, Woon’s Corporations Law is an up to date, in depth, section by section commentary of the Companies Act of Singapore. It sets out the context of the Companies Act provisions, contains cross references to relevant primary and secondary legislation; and provides commentary on case law and important practice points. To take into account ongoing changes to the company legislation since the first publication of its predecessor in 1994, a series of major changes have been implemented to the looseleaf to streamline the content and reflect the new structure governing company law. The coverage of the work has also been extended beyond the Companies Act to related areas such as the Securities and Futures Act, the Limited Liability Partnerships Act and the Code of Corporate Governance.
