Sharon Chiew

Sharon Chiew is the HR Director of LexisNexis Southeast Asia. She is responsible for providing strategic leadership and operational implementation of human resource strategies relating to the attraction, retention, development and management of staff in South East Asia.

Sharon joined LexisNexis Malaysia on 1^st March 2016, her main responsibility are to assist the business leaders in workforce planning, organizational design, change management activities, talent development and initiatives in enhancing organizational culture.

Prior to this , Sharon was the Human Capital Management (HCM) Director with Pen Apparel Sdn. Bhd. (subsidiary of the TAL Group). Together with a team of 40 HCM members that provides HR support to 3600 workforce with 15 nationalities, Sharon assisted the VP, Strategy APAC and the Managing Director in overseeing the entire HCM functions covering Staff HCM, Operators HCM, Admin, EHS, Payroll and Welfare team for the two factories in Penang. Sharon is the management representative chairing the meeting with the Union committee.

In addition, Sharon has worked with Dell Global Business Centre for about 10 years holding several different HR roles as Staffing Manager, HR Generalist and Regional HR Business Partner.

Sharon likes to spend her leisure time on reading, cycling and travelling.
