Thina Mariappan

In her role as Senior Legal Counsel, Thina provides commercially focused legal advice and guidance to business decision makers, manages legal risk and ensures policies and procedures are followed.

Prior to joining LexisNexis, she was practising law in Malaysia. She also has experience in the in-house space in Singapore. With her legal background, she opted to move to a more business-focused risk and compliance role for some time in Australia.

The experience of working in different jurisdictions has been far-reaching for Thina, as this led her to opportunities to develop new skills and expertise. Most important to her is the new network of friends and colleagues she built at every step of the way.

Outside of the office, Thina enjoys seeking out the latest interior design trends, being around nature and hunting for quaint cafes.
